If you haven?t had a chance to check out the Holistic Moms Network, now is the time! On September 10^th from 10am to 12pm the group will be holding a presentation on the Emotional Freedom Technique at the Belle Reve Health Care facility in Milford. Maya Lazarus, a certified consulting hypnotist, certified HypnoBirthing? practitioner, HypnoCoach? and Reiki Master will present The Emotional Freedom Technique: A Powerful Tool for Personal Change. The technique, also called ?EFT? or ?tapping? is a powerful tool for anyone 6 years and older to lessen or eliminate the intensity and discomfort of negative emotions, physical symptoms such as pain, cravings, addictions and even PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder). The healing system works by tapping on several meridian points throughout the body while repeating certan phrases. EFT has helped thousands of people whether they believe in it or not and the technology for it is readily available. Maya Lazarus will give a demonstration on the technique and allow time for everyone to practice.

There is no fee to attend this meeting, anyone interested in the Holistic Moms Network is welcome to attend their first meeting without being a member. To continue attending HMN meetings, you must join the organization. Membership is $45 for the year and includes many benefits.

The Holistic Moms Network is a non-profit support and discussion network for moms (and anybody else) with an interest in natural/holistic and alternative health and parenting.?
