(six week contracts, possibility of permanent role)

The London studio is seeking interior designers with strong design skills and passion and experience in the workplace (office space) or lifestyle (hotels and restaurants) sectors. The role will lead design in the team and report to the project leader and studio management. You must be immediately available and able to interview w/c 3rd October.

Responsibilities

to assist the project leader in the management of the design process and to take the leading role in the development of design solutions together throughout the project stages
assisting the project leader in the formulation of the client brief and presentation of these solutions to the client.
to keep up to date with developments in design techniques and trends and share these with the team.
undertaking research to meet client needs and to develop new ideas

It is important that you are able to work well in a large team. You must be self motivated and a team player. The successful candidate will need excellent attention to detail and have demonstrable experience in the production of tender packages, preferably on medium to large projects.

Requirements

degree holder in architecture or interior design from recognised institution
four ? eight years post-graduate experience in UK workplace projects up to 100,000 sq ft
demonstrated creative design in the London market in workplace or lifestyle projects
strong conceptual design and presentation skills
extensive experience in the management of projects (design + design team)
strong project management and mentoring skills to supervise small team of professional architects
well versant in 2D and 3D graphic and presentation software
Auto CAD ? advanced level
